Since I received two new colours from the China Glaze On Safari Collection (from 2012), I have been eager to try them out. Luckily, they complement each other really well, so I doodled a bit on some paper and came up with a simple but elegant dotted design. The colours are Kalahari Kiss (desert colour, obviously) and Purr-Fect Plum (it honestly is THE perfect plum colour, beautiful!), and both have a great formula: they are practically opaque with one coat.
To create the design, I basically made a cross-shape over the length of my nail, with half a circle across. To emphasize these shapes, I used double (layered) dots for the crossed lines, and single dots for the circle.
Easy!
