Yay, it’s Christmas time again! Did you notice the sneak peek on my new Facebook page? In this post: the full picture!
Have I mentioned that I LOVE Christmas? Last year, I made some pretty fun designs, but this year, inspiration hit me even more. I have some review blog posts coming up as well, but this is the first 2014 Christmas design: a modern design using the colours silver, red, white and black. I came up with the idea when a colleague of mine mentioned that she would have liked to put up a white Christmas tree at home, with black and silver ornaments to match the interior, but that she used a green tree instead, because she was unable to find the white one in the attic. Usually, I like the classic designs, but inspired by the story, I decided to give the modern Christmas style a go. Only, on my nails of course.
I used black and silver as a base for my nails. Then, using dotting tools and a striper brush, I painted a Christmas tree and two presents on my silver accent nails. Over the black nails, I layered two different glitters.
Here’s the result! If you are not a big fan of the modern look, stay tuned for a more cute and classic design in a few days (hopefully)!
